About Dear Kids Books
At Dear Kids Books, we know that each family’s story is special and unique, but that it’s difficult to find the time to write it. That’s why we offer three programs with varying levels of ghostwriting and editing services to fit the level of support you need. We guide you through each stage—from the initial writing process and matching you with the perfect ghostwriter to proofing the final manuscript before your book heads to the printer. Your book will be beautifully bound in hardcover, printed in just 6 to 9 weeks and delivered to your home to enjoy with the whole family for years to come.
KEEPSAKE: $4,900
Our keepsake package brings your family’s story to life. First, we’ll give you a guided questionnaire to prompt you as you get started writing. Your story will then be proofread, edited, and printed with black and white photos throughout. You will receive 15 copies of your hardcover book delivered to your door. We will also provide you with best practices and guidelines with everything you will need to throw your own family launch party.
KEEPSAKE PREMIUM: $9,500 (ghostwriting extra)
The Keepsake Premium program takes your story to the next level. This package includes everything from the Keepsake program, plus the option to be matched with a ghostwriter who will help you masterfully tell your story. At the end, you’ll receive 25 hardcover copies with full color photos throughout to share with the entire family.
LEGACY: Custom Cost
With the Legacy program, we’ll help you get your story out there. You’ll undergo extensive interviews with a ghostwriter who will be specifically matched with your project and story. This program includes a full marketing package with media outreach, the creation of a landing page and press kit, social media guidance, and retail support. Your book will also be distributed with major book retailers such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble and BooksAMillion.
